invoices and cost estimates submitted by repair organizations, with verification of the justification for each item and identification of discrepancies with actually performed work
Control of the quantity of spare parts and materials used
visual inspection of the quality of spare parts and materials to prevent reuse and exclude the replacement of new components with used or non-original ones;
Control of time costs (deadlines) for work performance
with daily recording of actual working time usage and identification of reasons for delays to minimize additional shipowner expenses
Control (monitoring) of repair work execution
for compliance with the scope of the approved repair statement, including photo documentation of hidden work and defect lists, in order to prevent non-performance or substitution of declared operations;
Audit of the preliminary repair statement
for compliance with the justification of declared work volumes, duplication of items, inclusion of excessive or technologically unrelated operations, as well as compliance with labor input standards and typical repair technologies;
